vinyl interior question

will it damage vinyl interior to put vinyl decals over it? for instance...i wanna put some vinyl on my dash to make the interior a little more unique. so if i did that and eventually found i didn't like it, could i take it off and the dash still be intact? i know most people would say paint it but i'm hesitant about painting my interior, i wanna keep everything to where i can revert it back to original if desired. thanks for any help. (also if anyone knows where i could find replacement interior vinyl pieces such as on the door panels and dash and stuff...let me know.)

it woudl be jsut like putting one on the outside of your car except if you use amorol or any other interior cleaner be sure to heavily clean the area with rubbing alchohol or it mya not stay on but i dont think it will hurt it

should be fine, i put a pontiac sticker on my steering wheel and didnt like it, peeled it off, although i hadnt really got it to stick very well.... but i also put sticky backed vinyl on my door panels and looked like crap so i took it off, no residue
