1)open the flap on the shield:
there are some bolts under the frt bumper shield you have to remove. After that it's like a trap door.

    2)Take off bumper bracket:
There are 3 nuts and a bolt or screw on this "L" shaped bracket you need to remove to make room for the lamp to come out. Otherwise you will have to FORCE them out, which is NOT the way to do it because it will damage the paint on the fascia or you might crack the lens. If you look at the fender and see how the frt bumper/fascia is connected to each other, you can see the L I'm talking about. Well, the otherside(inside) is where the black "L" shape bracket is. Remove it.

3)take off parking lamp, 3 screws, remove them, then unscrew the bulbs.

4)put new bulbs in or use old ones, check to see if they light up.

    5)reverse the order for install.
thats the way I did it and it worked just fine.

are the bulbs white? or are they amber?
I am confused about that. Do they have to be color bulbs now since the covers are clear? or can they be white bulbs?
And if they have to be color bulbs, I believe it would be red on the rear and amber on the front, right?

The Diamond Clears from Procarparts used to only come with the little orange 194 side bulbs and none for the main 2 filaments. I just bought another set last summer and it came with ALL 4 orange bulbs. You can mix and match or put the stock clear bulbs in there.
I have the silverstar for the DRL and a white LED for the 194 side.

So, it's legal to have white bulbs with the clear corners? I would have thought that the color of the corners were important and since now the corners were white I would have to use color bulbs to keep the color.

                            I didn't seal mine.

They still look just fine, and I got them over summer.

I see many a Camaro with hyperwhite or just clear regular bulbs. I have the Silver star because I prefer the Orange look, more aggressive. I used to have the stock clear bulb in there too, no problems. There are lots of cars, expecially trucks(ie Silverados) with clears and they have clear bulbs and they have no trouble here as well.
