  • These Damn Altezzas!

Jesus Christ, Ive had these damn things for 6 months, the passneger side one has never given me any problems, ive never put rtv on it, its never leaked its never fogged up its never even blown a bulb. Now the drivers side one, Ive prob put 3 tubes of rtv black on it, its still elaks and fills up with water and fogs up and blows all the bulbs 1-2 times a week. What the hell is up with these damn lights, jeez im pissed. I guess ill just buy some more cause the drivers side one i have now looks like ****, its got rtv everywhere and the lenses are permanently fogged up. Ive had my struggle and it has one.

97chevycamaro, i think you should have just left well-enough alone. Mine used to fog up on me whenever I washed my car but the fog would go away after a few hours.

Now my crystal clear front blinkers on the other hand. Well, those have been fogged for about the last year. That's a problem worth fixing.

You know where the water is coming from?

The Tail Lights are crying because they are too damn ugly! :D

Just Kidding man, to each his own.

But that seems to be a pretty consistant problem with after market lenses of any sort. Many of them leak, blow bulbs, melt, ect. I think its just cause most are not as high quality as O.E lenses.

I no longer have the altezzas on my car because the driver side light started to fog over and fill with water and burnt out one of my bulbs. I went back to the stock lights, and I like the way they look better. I think I liked the altezzas so much because they made my Camaro differnt, but now everyone around here has them on their Camaro's. :(
