Well, took her out to wash her and noticed a 1"-2" crack in the paint on the spoiler. Looks like the spoiler had flexed a bit causing the paint to crack. Problem is that this is in a very sturdy area and I don't see how the crack could have happened but it's there. Anyone else battle with paint cracks in this area? Structurally the spoiler looks fine.... it's just the paint that appears to be damaged.
EDIT: the crack is on the top surface of the spoiler, close to the rear edge on the passenger side.

I tried getting some pictures, but my digital camera won't let me get close enough to show the crack. After I get close enough to where I can see detail the camera fuzzes it out. The light from the rest of the paint off the spoiler is reflected so well that sometimes it blurs out the whole picture. I can feel the broken paint, but it's only visible from up close. Anyone know how expensive it would be to paint the spoiler? The car is a light pewter metallic color. What it looks like is like somebody leaned on it with their hand or something and flexed it enough to crack it. However, the spoiler in that area isn't flimsy enough IMO to bend, and the actual spoiler itself isn't distorted or broken, so I don't know what the deal is. I'm just worried that the paint will eventually chip off that area.
No, Dominic my car is a 99 Camaro base model. I'm out of warranty which is why I wanted to see about a repaint. I searched for problems with other spoilers but nothing to the effect of bad paint, etc. Thanks for the advice... I'll keep looking.
