  • Brink new car

Well I've had it for a few weeks now, but I'm just starting to get my pictures up.

    1998 White Camaro
    3.8L V6
    No cat (straight pipe)
    Flowmaster Exhaust
    JET PCM Power Chip
    SLP Intake lid
    SLP Cool air intake

Everything is great, 130,000 mi. I did notice that when I floor it sometime it doesnt want to kick into gear fast, seems something is holding it back.. If i floor it like instantly though, it will kick up to 4000-5000 rpm and ill be going fast like it should be before it switches to the next gear.

Also, I cant burnout in this car like I could my 3.4L 94. I thought the JET PCM Chip would make it so i could, but i was wrong! What can I get to take this gay rev limiter / traction control crap off?

Why the hell when I rev up past 3000 with my flowmaster it makes some freaky noise thats annoying, my rev limiter stops me at 4000, but when i get past 3, it sounds like backfire. From what I hear, every V6 with a flowmaster does it.

Any suggestions? What do you guys think , im new to here =) All custom work done by myself, the stripes, etc.

UPDATE: I just got my exhaust leak fixed on my straight pipe and its running A LOT better. ;)

yeah they all do that when u rev them, if im sittin still i cant rev it for my life, it sounds horrible....but if im moving and rolling i can redline on a rev and it sounds good......as far as suggestions, i say new rims, tint, blackouts on front and rear billet grille, the basics

What size are the wheels, they look really small.

        16"

Topher, why would I get new rims? I love mine, I just bought them off eBay (polished) for 600$. Who needs huge rims to make a car look good? I'd take some 17s. no bigger.

I had dark black tint on my windows but my parents made me take it off b/c of the visibility factor :/
