Yeah, I noticed that European Firebirds are different (incidentally, Camaro's have the same horrible flappy folding door mirrors and no rear side markers).

Fortunately, the Firebird was never officially sold in the UK - probably due to the fact that we drive on the wrong side of the road - although, the Camaro was sold here for the last 4 years of production.

I was very specific when looking for my car as there was absolutely NO WAY I was gonna get a Euro Spec one.

All cars imported individually are subject to a SVA (single vehicle approval) test.

Basically, mine just had to have a little re-wiring done to tail lamps (have to have orange turn signals) for it to be legal.

Of course, i've re-wired mine to US spec - looks way cooler - but I have a switch in the car hooked up to some relays that allows me to alternate between US and UK spec - just in case the boys in blue are behind me ;)

The white one is a "daylight" its on instadt of the orange turn signal.
and the fender turn signals are the same as the daylights on the front bumper - but orange and they are ugly, replaced mine with a small black one.
HJere you can see what holes they drill in the bumpers:

I have an extra bulb in the Backup lights that is amber in color.
But like I said, I only have them operational if PC Plod is driving behind me - and even then sometimes I can't be bothered to switch it.

US Spec all the way

i cant imagine them noticing something so small, but if they are pricks over there they might see it.

Those wheels matches the car very well. Its by no means fancy wheels, but the offset and size and everything fits nicely.
