  • Another "Painting Calipers" Question

I've seen a lot of painted calipers on this board. Some plain, but others with "CAMARO" written on them. I haven't seen any with "PONTIAC" or "FIREBIRD" written on them. So I guess my question is two-fold. 1) How do you put words on your calipers and 2) can those of you with PONTIAC or FIREBIRD written on them, post some pics?

This will be my FIRST mod project on my car. I just finished looking at Distephano's and I'm sold on it. So any help would be greatly appreciated guys. Thanks in advance!

Check out my site, i have front and rear painted calipers and the hub on the rotor too. I have my "firebird" caliper decals waiting to put on. trying to find the time to do it. When painting the calipers definitely use clear coat over the color you choose. The clear helps them stay cleaner. Plus i am also going to put my decals on then put a little clear over them to help them last longer. email me for better advice on the painting project ill be glad to help. Take it easy.

Hey, thanks for the offer. I might hit you up on it when I get ready start purchasing products and when I have time to do it.

Speaking of time, how long does the whole process take? I have 4 wheel discs, not two disc/rear drum. Should I do it on a Saturday afternoon and plan on not driving until sunday night?
