  • Wet application for decals???

I bought a decal for my fillerplate cause almost 2 years ago i wet sanded it off... Do I do a wet application for this like i did my stripes? I dont want the glue getting messed up u know cause i had this decal for my headlight and i put water/soap on it and it didnt stick at all. I bought the sticker off of ebay... this guy made it for me. Its chrome colored.

    Thanks.

Yep, always put some sort of soapy solution to apply decal. That way you can adjust them.

Your prevoius attempt didn't do too well probably due to either 1)too much soap 2)not warm enough outside temp or 3)didn't squeeze out water

When I did my stripes, I used a spray bottle filled with water, and two drops of dishwashing soap. Shook it up and sprayed the area(s) where the decals were going to be laid-out. On a warm day (60+ degrees) the decal can be moved on the body of the car to your preferences, but it has to be done somewhat quickly. It's always good to pre-align the decals before placing them on the wet surface and trying to "eye it up". Also, do not perform this in sunlight! The warm sunlight will make the water/soap solution dry VERY fast and possibly ruin the final setting.

They are ALL stickers and should be applied the same way.
