any firebird guys put a 4x6 headlight in our 4701/4703 location?
just wondering... some people have said that a 4x6 can be made to fit in our headlight location. If that's true, then we can upgrade the headlights much easier from the sealed beams to the newer bulb or hid styles. has anyone tried this? I think our 4701/4703's are 3 5/8" x 5 7/8" ... so I'm wondering how much modification would need to be done to the thing to get them to fit. I really hate the sealed halogens.
since it looks like eurolights is either not dependable or is out of business and autoptiks is definitely out of business, we need other options.
Well, I'll have to let you know sometime next week or so. I just ordered some 4x6 headlight housing by hella. So hopefully that'll help out with my HID output and everything. I'll let you know when I work on it, and I'll post pictures.
