  • To Those With Black Ebony Interior

I'm looking at putting black leather seats in my Firebird so it's a black on black car. Right now, I have an extremely dark gray black cloth interior. My steering wheel, dash, shift knob, knob slip, and console are a gray as well.

I've sat in a 2002 with Black leather, but I can't remember for the life of me what else would need to be changed if I put black leather in for it to match.

I really like black leather, but if I have to tear apart my interior, I'll just get gray. But...for those of you with black leather, what is all "black' in your car; better yet, what color is your steering wheel, console, shift knob/boot, doors and dash? (if you have clear pictures without much glare, that'd be great too...thanx!)

    Hi there,

You have a good job ahead of you. You will have to change pretty much everything in the car. The door pannels on a black leather car are leather also. The door sill plates, carpet, headliner, Door pannels, Rear cargo pannels, steering wheel, back seat pannels. Hmm I think thats about it. They are all bolt on. If you want black dont let that sway you not to change it. Just talk to someone in a salvage yard about the whole interrior change. It may be alittle pricey though. Try tacreationsusa.com.

I think i named all the things you have to change. Im not sure about the console though.

    Hope this helps.
