IT just sticks on...
just to warn your car is a little older, just make sure your car wasn't repainted, and even if its all factory may be worried about any paint fading over the last 9 years.
I think maybe a piece of string, pull off a little bit by the end and use the string like a saw. Then clean up the goo and such underneath.
Just to warn you, car gets more dents and dings without it, got 2-3 dings in the first week my dad had my car. Car had less then 150 miles and already 3 dings, bought some molding from dealer put it on, and no more dings on the side.-Eric
2000 NBM V6 Camaro 5-speed T-top converted
14.467@95.45mph $0 in mods
The member formerly known as MustangEater8251

I look at mine and I see a few scratches on my trim piece, and notice the scratches I have gotteon over my rear wheels from damn angled parking spots.-Eric
2000 NBM V6 Camaro 5-speed T-top converted
14.467@95.45mph $0 in mods
The member formerly known as MustangEater8251

lol, anyways, i've had mine off for a while now, no dings, just be careful when opening your door and stuff, thats all.
i used fishing line to run behind the moldings. it also helps to use a hair dryer to heat up the sticky tape crap that holds the molding on to make taking it off easier.2000 White Firebird W68
A4, LSD, 3.42 gears
Flowmaster muffler, Borla tips
TA Hatch, 17\" Chrome Firehawk Wheels

Biggest thing.... SEARCH the forums (cool little search button up there on the upper right).
2nd biggest thing... PULL DOWN. If you pull the molding down (towards the ground) you will have less residue left on the car to deal with. If you pull back, you will leave a lot of the tape residue on the car.Sinister Six
Cardomain
--This doesn\'t change the fact that I am ~The Guru~ who still kicks puppies...
