• What do u guys think of this hood?

    http://www.fbodymotorsports.com/inc/...l?v=1&pid=8735

I saw it on there and I must say Im intrigued, (except for the paint job on the ones in the picture)

I like the style of this hood and the fact no one around here has one yet

    Opinions?

That hood looks awesome, like you said with the right paint however. If only I had a spare $1,000.

Ill look into the quality, bc the design is really growing on me, something new no one else has, not that Raptors or WS6 Hoods arnt bad ***, this is just something fresh for a change.

lol, which i guess can justify spending 1,000+ to some people

Im still deciding on what I want to get depending on how well these hoods are made. Its just growing on me.

a couple people on the board have gotten them, both said they were horribly made and had to have a shop modify parts of it.... They look extremely good, but not worth 1000. Because of the quality, id spend maybe 200 max

I think it's too much. If the intake scoops, extractors, etc on the hood don't serve a purpose, then it gets too gaudy...just my input.

i've heard from this board and others that it's poor quality. it's going to cost a lot just to get the hood to fit correctly. i'd go w/ the raptor hood or ws9 hood. (ws6 hood w/ firehawk heat extractors on top of the hood.)

Ws9? Never heard of this one, can u point me to a place that sells them online? Appreciate it.

WS9 is the way to go. It looks like a ws6 but has heat extractors in the back on the outside of the two humps. I dont have a link for ya though, sorry. Dont get the mecham though, they warp.
