where would the air go that ur scooping up? how much do u wanna pay for a body mod like that? I could see doing that if it sent air to cool off the brakes, or inside the car for some cooling reason, but i wouldn't do it just for show. I remember somebody coming up w/ an idea to put scoops on the B-pillars and ducted it to cool off some amps int he back or something. it seemed really trick, and the bodywork was smooth and feathered in. u'd have thought the car's came like that stock.2001 Arctic White Firebird
More mods than I\'m allowed to list!

Sounds like something that would :
A) weigh you down
and
B) cause more wind drag
And look tacky.AIM: escalier deverre
\'02 Pearl Blue Metallic RSX-S (daily driver)
\'98 Black Firebird
98 V6 turbocharged to 02 LS1 swap
\'02 LS1/4L60E
LS6 Block, LS6 Intake Manifold, Thunder Racing 215/220 .600/.523/115 Cam, Titanium Retainers, Crane Double Valve Springs, 125 shot NX Wet Kit w/ NOS brand Purge, True Dual \"H\" Pipe w/ two chambers and dumps, 17x11(rear) and 17x9.5(front) Black Powdercoated ZR1 Replicas on 315 and 275 BFGoodrich Comp T/A\'s (Street)/ET Drags/Skinnies on Weldlites(Track), 3.42/LSD

I know it'll add weight (about 10lbs perhaps) and increase wind drag but I don't think it'll make a big difference. about the tackiness well if professionally done I don't think it'll look bad but who knows I haven't seen a camaro with one on it yet hehehe . :D\"I\'m not bsing you its a v6\" -------> (don\'t you just love it when you have to say that)

No offense but if you want to do something like that, then get a rice rocket. Camaro's aren't meant to have gay roof scoops, or big wings that look ricey and are taller then the roof, euro lights, or 20" "dubs", or anything else like that. Camaros are muscle cars even if they're V6. Keep it looking American at least.

First off i would never put the roof mount scoop, euro light,20" rims on my car. But who are you to tell someone that camaros arent ment to have any of those things? if it fits on the car its ment to be on the car. Just because something is different dosent mean it shouldnt be on it. He was trying to come up with something original, you cant fault someoen for trying. And when you say keep it looking American, who says whats "American" and whats "Ricey" not anyone.

hey I wasn't trying to start a big argument about ricing a camaro. Only thing is that in my case I appreciate any car that someone puts work into in order to make it look better. true wings and scoops aren't meant for certain cars if they are taken to the extreme. But in my post I simply had an idea that I wanted to see if you guys had an answer to. I want to to try to make my car as original as posible. every c-mo I see here in LA has the same things (rksport body kit, euro lights, painted/polished calipers, and a chevy sticker somewhere. Is there anything wrong with simply coming up with an idea to try to make your car look original??\"I\'m not bsing you its a v6\" -------> (don\'t you just love it when you have to say that)
