stock vette sizes - 245/45/17 up front and 275/40/18 in the rear. As long as you match up the overall tire height (or very close to it) you shouldnt have any troubles (ie-rear tires are lower profile to compensate for the extra wheel diameter). I know I could've gone 285/35/18 out back too for a little more meat still, but still be the same overall height as the front.
My car is daily driven too, if yours is more of a cruise/show car then you should have even less to worry about. Vette's come stock with staggered sizes, so coming from the factory like that should prove to be some persuasion as well.
