• New guy is just lost!!

I have had my Firebird for just 2 weeks now and am lost about what to do next.
I could go-no for days asking questions about Wax, t-top care and so-on….But I will start small.
It is a white 1996 Firebird V6 t-top.
I would love to add some Ground effects.
Could someone tell me the best placed to get the ground effects with out breaking the bank?
Also what is the best way to clean the Aluminum rims?? They seem to have a gloss clear coat. … They are stock original that came new with the car.
Thanks,
Graham

Welcome to the board. Alot of the members have websites, your best bet is to do alot of exploring and check out what looks cool.

Well, your best bet to get some ground effects without breaking open your wallet is to go used. Post in the "Wanted" section of this forum that you're looking for some ground effects. There are numerous other F-Body sites that have forums featuring a "for sale" or "wanted" section. A big one is LS1.com. Check EBay as well.

Avoid RKSport.com... while they carry just about everything you'd ever want, they overcharge, big time. Example: Urethane Camaro Letters (Basically some stickers you put in the "camaro" indents in the back of the car). They want 55 dollars for em. You can find the same ones at vinzdecals.com for 10 dollars. Moral is, shop around.

Hope this helped. Just remember once you buy your ground effects you'll have to get them painted too, so take that into account.

Wow, I haven't tried to go there for quite a while (My wallet is about as thin as my grandpa's hair). Maybe our buddy who wants to buy some ground effects can get in, hopefully.
