Firebirds have sealed-beam headlights because they pop up. If you wanted to replace them with xenons, you'd have to buy a conversion kit with a new bezel, etc. It would probably be around $170 if you did your high beams and your low beams, since they are seperate lights. I know AutoOptiks sells them, just do the car lookup. Hope this helps.

auto optiks only has up to 97 on firebirds ?

Well, there's LEGAL white bulbs which you can grab at any Wal-Mart for $20 a set (I have these, same brand as the stock bulbs, just white light instead of the yellowish). If you want the illegal bluish ones you can grab a set of those from www.itsrealstuff.com for only about $10. And a REAL HID Xenon set of bulbs isn't $70... the real thing runs $600+ for each set of bulbs (highs and lows). Xenon sets are so expensive because you have to buy more then just the bulbs. You have to by a convertor box to even be able to power them.

Yeah, I was talking about the Xenon lookalike bulbs. You need to buy the kit to use them on the birds though. AutoOptiks does have them for 98+, you have to select "Firebird exc. Trans AM" for the model on the vehicle lookup. I'm sure you can find these kits cheaper, but this is the only place that I can remember that has them.
