Just got them done the other day. Windshield banner is 37" x 4.5". Rear bird is 30" x 30". Shop custom did them and installed them for me. Let me know what you think.

southern94 - bird was expensive because the metallic silver roll did not come in 30x30, so they had to use two separate ones. It was $120 installed, but I'm sure depending on the shop you could get it for less. The wings of the bird are separate from the main piece.
black97cam - I'm sorry, do I have a sticker on my car claiming I have a model/part that I don't? Do I have 500 stickers on my car to look like Nascar? Even Hondas can look good with a reserved amount of nice stickers. Kinda funny comment from someone who has Altezza taillights on his Camaro.......
TealV6 - I keep forgetting what brand my car is, so when the officials at the track ask, I now have a reminder :D . Seriously though, I love the look of windshield banners and didn't want to go with a Trans Am one. Plus now I can scare the imports when I come up from behind ;) .

ok all i said was it is tacky, not rice. Its a big BIRD on your car....
and everyone already knows its a pontiac. They dont need to see a big sticker on the windshield.
The 2nd gen Trans Ams had a bit different decal, it wasnt pasted on the rear window. Its just my opinion, to me its tacky...its your car, not mine...as long as YOU like it.

2nd gen's decals were not that much different from my bird. There are a couple more "feathers" in my wings then the 2nd gens, that's the main difference. And I couldn't put it on the hood seeing as I'm getting the 30th anniversary stripe kit.
I wasn't getting defensive, just pointing out the flaws in your argument. And I was (and technically still am) a V6 owner. I sold my 2000 V6 Camaro about 4 months ago and I still own a 1984 Firebird V6. Besides, plenty of V8 guys on this board. Nothing wrong with that at all.
