I know a couple people have doen this. And I also know that the bulbs behind the instrument cluster are a #194 size... but what about those grommet things on the bottom of the bulbs that cause you to just twist them in?? Do the bulbs just pull out of those?
I'm going all red in my camaro and figured I'd ask before I tear it all apart.

You're trying to be like us Pontiac guys aren't you. ;) :D
hey, the pontiac interior kicks *** ! that's why i got mine red on the inside...well, the instrument cluster, still gotta do the hvac and lights and CD player. But hey, one thing about camaros, we have cool clear taillights  :D ;)
you twist the grommet out, pull the light out (use a pen cap or something to poke from the bottom, that helps...then put the new one in)

If you'll read the title of this post you'll notice that nobody is talking about their taillights
What bulbs did you guys go with. I read this post a while ago and decided to change them today. After getting my dash ripped apart I went to autozone and bought some red 194 bulbs. When I put a couple in and tested it they looked pink!!! If anyone knows of some better bulbs or somewhere to order some let me know.
also, can you replace those tiny bulbs in the a/c controls? Autozone didn't have any red ones but not like it matters.
I had some red bulbs in the glovebox & center console of my '94. I thought it looked pretty cool. I keep forgetting whenever I'm at Autozone to buy more bulbs, so I guess I'll get around to it one day.
BTW, how many 194's are there on the interior of the Camaro?

behind the instrument cluster there was 19!!! So those APC bulbs at 4.99 a pair will get pretty expensive. My local Autozone carried a few APC bulbs, so I got them, but for the most part Im sportin the basic red autozone bulbs that were like 1.99 a pair. It looks real good! Maybe tonight, I'll snap a pic for you guys.

Well, maybe they don't look so pink now. I took out all of the clear ones and only left in a few red bulbs and they don't look bad. I think the clear was overpowering them. Now I'm not sure if I'm going to go buy the rest or not because I had a blue bulb from autozone in the dome light of my firebird and now that I think about it the thing turned orange in a couple months. Well I might just have to hold off on the bulbs because I have 9 bulbs and at $5 a pair I'm not to sure it's worth it.
