I'm in the process of removing the old paint off the rectangular Z28 tips. Is there an easier way to remove the paint other than sanding it? (Like a solvent or different kind of brush pad) Also what kind of paint should I use to repaint this? Should I put a primer and a clearcoat on also? Do you think a Silver color paint would look good, or should I go with gloss black?
If you could help me out with this I would really appreciate it.
    Thanks

use a DIE GRINDER and a sanding pad...MUCH EASIER. Id also leave them black...they look pretty good black.
