My tips have that nasty orange rust building up inside of them, and I was wondering if it was ok to spray them with some high heat black rustoleum to make them look better? The can says it can withstand temps up to 1,000 degrees F. This wont be a fire hazard or anything will it?

na....you will be fine. My buddy and I do that too our Camaro's also. we get that nasty orange rust, so we just scrub the area really good, let it dry and then spray it. Just make sure to wrap the outside of the tips where you are spraying so they don't get painted. We use a engine paint though so it can withstand the heat. It should be all good.99\' Black Camaro SS
M6/T-Tops - SLPLid w/K&N | Hurst Billet Plus w/ LSS | EGR Mod
Black 97\' Camaro T-Tops (RIP)
