Its not that i dont like the wings west kit, but thats the thing, KIT. not KITS. I cant seem to find anyother kit out there for my car. I have the one of a kind hood, and now i want the ground effects not everyother person i know has on their bird. Anyone ever saw another kit?

There is a store in San Antonio who used to make kits. Last time I checked, they still had kits selling on the internet. I don't remember the name of the company, but the kits were called the "images" and "predator" kits. I liked the predator one, but I still got the Wings West. It's the best in my opinion.

i think the company your thinking of is called Kobel or something. flip through a J.C.Whitney catalog and you'll see it in there. the kit is about $500, but one of the kits comes with door filler panels( that would definetly look unique!) I've tried finding a website or phone number for them but no luck. in the catalog it says that you can request pics of the kits from them, BUT, again, i can't find an address, phone #, or anything. Try calling J.C.Whitney.

Sorry, no. Must go though a dealer. But to make it easy to explain, go to the GM Performance Parts book and order the Firebird GT GFX, it's the same as the W68 factory option.

Do firebirds with only rocker panel gfx look stupid, because i don't want a piece on the front that I'm going to tear off on a curb or have to replace the rear bumper cover.

No they don't look stupid, they just don't look near as good. Trust me, you would have to be gifted to rip off the front piece of the ground effects, or any part for that matter. While the kit does make your car look lower, it is no where near what they depict in the Wings West picture. That car has lowering springs or bags to be that low. In the 6 months I've had the kit on, I haven't even scraped the front part. In fact the part that most easily scrapes is the side rocker panels. Scraped one on a rock!(It was a rather big rock, but it passed under the front part without scraping) As far as the predator kit, I've only seen it in an old catalog I have(It's the same pic that was posted) To this day I have yet to actually see it on a car in real life. From the pic, it looks no where near as good as the Wings West. I don't know why anybody would want to buy that kit when you can get the Wings West one on ebay for cheap. The only thing I don't like about the wings west one is the spoiler. Looked like a waste of money to me. But I love the rest of the kit, and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for gfx.
