Hey guys im thinking about buying some new wheels. I really like the Eagle Alloy 077 and the Konig Monsoon. I want them in 17 inch. What do you guys think I should go with? Let me see your wheels so I can compare. Give me a pic, let me know what kind they are and what size, also include tire size. Thanks.
Anyone know how much the Monsoon and 077 17 inch weigh compared to stock 16x8?
I saw on the Amercian Eagle Alloys site that those rims alone are about 24lbs each, not too bad,I would think they are lighter then stock, but btw, why do you want to know the weight?

Unless you go out and look for lightweight rims...more than likely you are going to find something that is heavier than stock.
Stock weight is 19.5lbs.
SLP sells their SS/Firehawk/C5 rims that are a lighter weight than buying from other company's because of the material they use...
I bought the firehawks in chrome and they are 23lbs... They're also the heaviest ones they sell...but they look real purty!
I still have the stock rims for track use...etc.
For rims that are lighter than stock look for drag rims or something of that sort...I think that you'll find they are really expensive.
Also, 17" rims are going to be heavier (most of the time) than 16"ers because there's more material there...
