I think everything is ok except the decals. Adding fake decals is the same type of thing as the Type R people do. The hood, spoiler, and wheels should be ok though. There are a few v6 people with ss hoods, spoilers, or wheels and I think it looks good.

I agree with the opinion that you should stay away from putting the SS decals on it. The hood, wheels and spoiler are additions to make the car look a little better, but the SS decals are saying that it's a different car all together.- Josh
If you have any questions or need installation pics/help, e-mail me: Viper98885@aol.com
\'93 Camaro Hardtop
\'01 Lincoln LS8 Sport
\'00 Yamaha YZF-R6
Full Throttle Performance

Its not a SS unless it comes from the factory as a SS. I don't see nothing wrong with what all you want on except for the decals, The hood, spoiler, and rims are all for looks, and don't say that you have a SS, but the decals say you do and that just means your posing as an SS.

Even if you put a v8 in it I would not consider it a Z28 Or SS just becuase it came from the factory as a V6, I would think of it as a Ls1 or Lt1 Camaro, but never a Z28 or SS{Kinda of confusing but I know what im saying ;) }Dont call me chief.

2001 Camaro Convertible Rs Replica
1991 Acura Legend

I guess the good thing about that, if i did switch to v8, would that i'd only pay insurance on a v6. But that sucks that u guys say its dumb to put it on there. I guess i'll have to find some other way to make it look good. Its just that that SS is so appealing to put on there.1998 Sport Metallic Gold Camaro
Current Mods
AIWA CD/MP3 player
Flowmaster exhaust
Dual 3.5\" chrome exhaust tips
Removed Front Grill
Functional RAM AIR, ss-style hood
Exhaust Cutout
Future Mods:
Leather Seats
Improved audio system
Different wheels
Indiglo gauges
http://hometown.aol.com/saturn2187/

The decals is the only problem, and people will still probly think its one driving by you, and the insurance thing, your suppose to tell the insurance company because they will not pay for damnages if they find out you did that. I think its considered insurance fraud, but im not for sure, what do you guys think or know? Then: 1997 3.8L Red Firebird~SOLD!~
Now: 2002 Atlantic Blue Dodge Ram 1500

if you upgraded the engine and THEN put the SS decals on, I think that would be fine.. but the other way around..No, not at all. Complete rice. I don't think you'd want some chump in a Viper pull up next to you and give you a rev because he think's you're in an SS and then you get your doors blown off you. Wouldn't want them ricers to think highly off themselves if they can keep up with you either ;) .AIM: escalier deverre
\'02 Pearl Blue Metallic RSX-S (daily driver)
\'98 Black Firebird
98 V6 turbocharged to 02 LS1 swap
\'02 LS1/4L60E
LS6 Block, LS6 Intake Manifold, Thunder Racing 215/220 .600/.523/115 Cam, Titanium Retainers, Crane Double Valve Springs, 125 shot NX Wet Kit w/ NOS brand Purge, True Dual \"H\" Pipe w/ two chambers and dumps, 17x11(rear) and 17x9.5(front) Black Powdercoated ZR1 Replicas on 315 and 275 BFGoodrich Comp T/A\'s (Street)/ET Drags/Skinnies on Weldlites(Track), 3.42/LSD

You will never have a true SS unless you buy a real one from the factory so don't fake it with decals!*MATT*
98 Camaro SS #1767 A4
Artic White
Not stock...
Former car:
96 Firebird Y87 A4
Bright Red
Wasn\'t stock...
