SS decal = V-8 not V-6 w/SS body pieces. Everyone on this board complains about fins being ricey altezzas being ricey exhaust being ricey etc etc when in all reality the only thing I see as hands down ricey is SS on a V-6. Now if you got an LS-1 I see no reason whats so ever to not label is a Z-28 or SS. Our cars are basically Z-28's with smaller engines and very few other differences. Just my $.02
My personal take about this subject is.........
Anything that enhance the look and appearance of your car is OK, as long you are happy with it.
But trying to mislead, fake, or make believe something that is NOT... is NO NO.
But I applied that only for me, It is not my business telling you what is wrong and what is right.
In the other hand remember something, the Fbody cars are not for everybody. It is that kind of car that needs a "boyfriend". People who own one, usually knows a lot about the Fbody history and expecs. You could deceit most people out there but not another Fbody owner. So, be ready for some Sarcastic looks, critic and tease.
Any way, what is really important and what really should matters here is YOUR own opinion and what makes you happy. If you like the SS decals and you think there is nothing wrong and you can handle any critic or tease at the stoplight well....... DO it!
