you could try wet sanding them, its worth a shot, and i dont see how it wouldnt work. just dont use low grit paper. but yea black halo's look amazing on red camaro's. you can probally get them for a little over $100 on ebay.1998 bright red camaro ,M5 ,Y87 ,stock

Originally posted by Rune:
If it smells like a turd and looks like a turd, chances are its probably not a candy bar.

Re: Headlight Removal
i had the same problem with my headlights when i got my camaro. there is a great write up on one of the other forums about this. here's a link:

ok its not a link but you can copy-paste. this takes for-ev-er, but its definately worth it. you have to wet sand them working up to a really fine grit, and then polish them with a plastic polish. i used meguiar's plast-x, and it worked great AFTER sanding them down. again, it took me like 4 hours or so, but its definately worth it not to have to buy new ones. or, if you just WANT halo's, this could make a good excuse to buy them. ;)98 camaro v6, ssm, mostly stock

if i had bumper stickers they would say this:

yes, as a matter of fact, i DO own the road!

my physics teacher would be happy with my driving: constant acceleration
