Gauging interest in appearance mods, that I may start making! Need Feedback

Ok guys here is a list of things that I am working on trying to carry or do, tell me what you think and I will either decide to go ahead with R&D or I'll scratch it.

Already making:

3rd Gen F-body clear bumper lenses, not corners

4th gen F-body clear bumper lenses, not corners

Coating of any plastic piece on the car with carbon fiber, not the cheap stickers. $.45 a square inch, $10 minimum per piece. ANY CAR or ANYTHING

Will probably be making soon:

93-97 Firebird clear corners

93+ Clear taillights

And clear lenses about a similar size to f-bodies, for pretty much any car

Need to guage interest in these:
Guage overlays in ANY color or combo
A/C overlays
Headlight overlays
Custom exterior graphics

I have an excellent local decal shop that can produce, ANYTHING. But it's gonna take money and investment and R&D on my part in order to bring this stuff to you guys, so I need a STRONG interest or I'll just make what I know I can sell.

let's see, i'll take all of my dash overlays, A4 shift knob, and e-brake handle coated in carbon fiber...or maybe just red ones. yeah that would be cool. :D

Carbon Fiber I can do now. It'll cost you $20 plus shipping for the ebrake and shift knob. Let me know. This is through a company in Socal and I make no money off of this, but i'm hoping if i help them they will hook me up since I have thousands of square inches that i'm going to be coating. Anyone else?

Well custolights was going to get them from me, but since they did not keep in touch either, I'm just gonna bring them straight to you. Charlie is sending the 93-97 corners for prototyping and I should have the demo within 2 weeks. The headlight overlay would be that little flat area by your headlight switch. It would change it to an overlay. Anybody know the grade stickers usually used for overlays? I can get it in all thicknesses, but price goes up with thickness.

Hey, how do you do it? Do you just clorox bleach them or something??? :D I know it's a silly question, just my curiousity...

Lots of people think that is how it is done. The answer is no, in order to bleach them white it would make the plastic soooo brittle it would break. I have to manually cut off the old piece, paint the inside chrome or silver, and refabricate a new front piece to silicone on. By the way, if anyone has probs with silicone leaks ever, just send them back and I'll fix them for free. Lifetime leak free warranty if you will.

i'd send you my shift knob and e-brake now, except for the fact that i don't think i can drive w/o them...about how long would this take

I'll call him and find out. I'll get back to you. Buy some of the stock ones for cheap off of ebay and when you get the carbon fiber ones back just re-sell the extra set.

Custom Exterior graphics? Put down a [img]graemlins/thumbsdown.gif[/img] for me, I wouldn't want any.

Have you considered Windshield banners? Rear Bumper inlays?

Winshield banners I could do, don't know about inlays, and I don't know if I could get those any cheaper than they already sell for, but I can ask.
