headlight stupid question

ya ive have my camaro for 8 months and i got into this situation one time and i didnt know how to turn off my lights. it an 01 i dont have a manual and one of my friends said u cant is this true mucho help would be appreciated

have u been driving solely in the day for 8 months? and even if yes theres a nob, im assuming is the same as my 01 bird, on the left under the AC vent.

or if u mean the day time running lights those stay on all the time

you have automatic lights. You also have daytime running lights. This means that you cant turn them off unless you do a mod to add a switch. So no drive bys in the 'maro

someone did a write up on this long time ago. the sensor is actually by the ebrake. when the ebrake is up the "switch is off" when u put it down the "switch" is on. so all u have to do is elimate the "switch" inside the center console. good luck

the sensor isnt by the ebrake. the ebrake is an override when the car is turned on with the ebrake engaged. the sensor is though like you said, in the dash

you can drive one notch up on the e-brake, but you cannot shut them off and do it. you have to shut the car off and put it up and turn it on.
