have u been driving solely in the day for 8 months? and even if yes theres a nob, im assuming is the same as my 01 bird, on the left under the AC vent.
or if u mean the day time running lights those stay on all the time-RJ \"Like trail mix I\'m a lil sweet but mostly nutty\"
Metallic Blue 2001 3.8 Firebird M5
FRA,Smoothed Air lid, Homedepot Intake, K&N Air Filter, MSD Coils & Plug wires, Iridium Plugs, Flash Tune, 2.5 Flowmaster Catback.

someone did a write up on this long time ago. the sensor is actually by the ebrake. when the ebrake is up the "switch is off" when u put it down the "switch" is on. so all u have to do is elimate the "switch" inside the center console. good luck*1997 Camaro v6 3.8*
President of NorCal Sinister Six

the sensor isnt by the ebrake. the ebrake is an override when the car is turned on with the ebrake engaged. the sensor is though like you said, in the dash

you can drive one notch up on the e-brake, but you cannot shut them off and do it. you have to shut the car off and put it up and turn it on.-Eric
2000 NBM V6 Camaro 5-speed T-top converted
14.467@95.45mph $0 in mods
The member formerly known as MustangEater8251
