I have also heard them called t-top shades. They are plastic inserts with headliner on one side. It was probably a pretty rare option since the dealership charges something insane like $80-$90 a piece for them. I bought mine off someone in the for sale section.

Mine came with the car. They're nice in the summer, or for long trips in the sun.

I got my car used with them... it must have been the only options on the car. Mine are hard foam, though, not plastic, and match the headliner. I'm not using them now, but they are DEFINATELY great in the summer. If it gets hot where you live, I would definately spend the money for them... it would be almost unbearable without them.

Mine came with them, also... I bought the car used. As said, they are indeed great in the summer. Just be careful putting them in and out, I have a few little tears in the headline from where they got stuck, or something before I bought the car.
Down here in arkansas, they WILL help, especially in summer.

I got mine off cz28.com for like $30

They are neccesary imo... When I went from hardtop to t-top, temps in my car jumped big time. Then I got t-top shades and the car was back to when it was a hardtop.
