body panels not aligned right

  • body panels not aligned right

    first off, my hood is not aligned correctly... how do i re-align the hood?
    do i just loosen the bolts? which ones?

    also, my drivers side rear fender is not aligned correctly where it meets the rear bumper cover

        When I put my new hood on I had to shave the brackets with a rat tail file for a while to get it perfectly aligned. Dont just loosen the bolts, that might not be good news...

              theres some pics

              and, i bumped into a van with front right fender. but my car has been like this since i got it

              i think someone did a half-assed job of fixing the front end from a previous accident

                Oh crap man, that sucks pretty bad. That's way more extensive than my damage. That's definately body shop work.

                      You could try adjusting your fenders to fix the gap. Maybe the front end was replaced before you got it. I think there are a couple bolts by the door that you can loosen and move the fender around a bit.
