  • Pics of the new custom racing stripes

    Okay, so here they are. Ill somewhat detail the work that went into this.

    First off, we spent a solid 3 hours making sure EVERY SINGLE MILLIMETER of fine line tape was perfect.



    Then we spent probably an hour masking every nook and cranny off...and i started sanding...


    Daddy [img]tongue.gif[/img] took off the rear spoiler and masked it all off....

    Then the fun began...



    After 4 hours of wet sanding and buffing....and a nice long wash....here we have the result...

    wow. I am a bit of a perfectionist (understatement) and i cant find one flaw. I can spot an uneven decal or stripe a mile away and those 3 hours were worth it.

    cough cough you know i got 50 bucks and i'd be happy to fly your dad out here for the day for a couple stripes... [img]smile.gif[/img]

                Yeah, its coming off tonight...my dad is bringing home some adhesive remover....

                      Hey... looks good... Me and my dad re-did my whole car... pretty much the same concept on the rallys but i have more of a custom finish.. it took us 5 business work hours to do my car, and then painted and cleared on a saturday at my dads shop... go ahead and check out my cardomain website on my signature

                        damn! good job man, you SHOULDDA continued them on the roof, but I guess you can always do that later...looks very nice, so did you start crying when you took the sandpaper to your shiny paint? :D I know I would ;)
