found the solution if you do not want to tap into anything like me. I dont care if its a ciag lighter, rather do that then touch anything in the car.

also do u think i should put them behind my ram air vents??
Aren't those vents suppose to let air IN? personally, I would not want to restrict the intake.

i think if you put them like on the "roof" of the vent it wouldnt restrict airflow, and would look badass at night. just remember that its illegal to have blue lights on the outside of your car.

Also if the air filter still has the factory sealed intake box the Ram Air hood doesn't do too much other than blow air across the engine. Now, if the filter also channels underhood air in then blocking the Ram Air scoops would be a consideration but it wouldnt kill the car.

Holy Cow! That oznium.com stuff is really cool. I wonder if I could mount two of those little 4 inch ones behind my stock 2001 Camaro grill to match the Halo lights glow?

For my dash I got 5 of the WLED-x5 194 wedge base bulbs in Blue from superbrightleds.com. They are kinda tricky to put in cluster, so you need to take the black plastic piece off the back of the cluster when you install them so you can get the right angle and then put the cover back on. Other than that the gauges are just plug and go.

Everything else in the car is the blue #74 led bulb w/out a base. There is 1 in each door, 2 in the HVAC pannel, and one in the shifter pannel. These also just plug right in. However, the passenger door light is really dim and to get it bright would require some custom work (which I didn't feel like doing).

All the stuff I used can be found on this page.

Also, if you want to get a little more tricky, the guys at www.ledgauges.com will sell you a really small LED that will work for the headlight dimmer swich. I didn't get mine wired up right and had a short so it's now a new (02 camaro) stock lit switch.

Anyway, hope that helps. If you have any questions just sent me an e-mail.

I have a switch like the one you mounted in the plexi, but it's mounted right next to my TCS switch... it looks nice there.
