I wanted to get a different set of wheels for my car to use everday. I eventually want to get HRE 547's, but I don't want to use them everyday ( I wouldn't want to take a chance on getting them scratched or something else happening to them). I would only use them for car shows. So who think's the SLP wheels would be good to use everday since there only $800?

you could probably find Z06's off eBay for that price in the nice polished aluminum look. I'd look around more to find something nicer than just painted wheels. Check for sale forums, I bet you could find some chromed SS's or polished ones for cheaper. I just personally think $800 for just plain jane painted wheels is a lot, especially if they're gonna be your beater set IMO
Edit - ok, n/m the eBay thing, they're not as cheap as I thought on eBay. But I personally think the painted SS's arent anything special, if you found chromed or polished though, I think those would look way better

The one's from SLP include tire's, thats why I thought they were a good deal. I know their not the best looking rims, but I need something better looking than the stock wheels. If you know of any wheels that look good that are cheap, and good to use every day, please post them.
I know a guy in my car club that won a set from SLP day, and he's selling them. So I was thinking about offering him $500 for the wheels and tires.

Had to be evacuated Monday again after a fire was going on the hill behind us. Only 3-4 hours, they did a good job getting it under control. Especially...
