Ok the sprinklers at work got me good today... I came out at lunch and my car has little waterspots ALL OVER the rear. I got home and took out a bottle of water mixed with a lil NXT wax and used that... still there especially on my stripes. I guess i gotta wait til this weekend to really clean it but it looks like i got salt on my car. Odd.

Water spots can get "etched-in" to the paint if the car paint surface is hot. As the water dries, it leaves crusty mineral deposits behind. They are VERY hard to get off...
I've had the best luck with a product called "One Grand Special Touch". It's a non-abrasive polish that is specifically designed to remove stubborn water spots.

I have more. damn sprinklers AGAIN! I will try my hardest this weekend to get it off... and yes, i can tell its leaving mineral deposits behind. Maybe a claybar would help as well since i have one somewhere in the garage.1998 Silver Firebird
Basic mods... nothing real special but it sure looks good!
maleetpobanz.com

^^ Yeah, clay the car first and then try a buffer with Meguiar's #9 Swirl Remover, or do it by hand (but takes alot longer). You could also try a glaze (like Meguiar's No. 7) as well...Autozone's around here have a couple different things.
