Question for all

I am thinking about putting stripes on my 02 firebird and was thinking of a cool color combition. My car is silver and have been thinking of a few differant colors for the stripes. My girfriend is telling my a dark purple with silver that sound kinda cool and differant, I was thinking silver and red. I want to have the engine compartment mach with whatever I go with. So let me hear your guys...AND girls input.....

the purple would look good IMO but some wouldnt agree. a good color to go with that most would like is good old black.
