I jsut found out that ventvisors are made for our cars...mine being a 96 Camaro, I figure I will order a set, I have had them on all my other vehicles and really like them. Though I jsut cant picture them on my car, nor can I fiure out how they work on my car....anywho, as the subject says, and pics or thoughts..
ya, I guess, I have never heard them called that....they go over the top of the door/window, they provide a bit of shade, and protection from rain and what not.
Our cars are coup's, not sedans. Sedans have the frame going around the outside of the door windows and allow a section for vent shades to fit. Thus the window(s) can be all the way up and never stand a chance to strike the plastic shade because they are protected by their frame.
Our windows don't have a frame and will hit the ventshades as we open and close the doors when they are rolled up.
I have seen them for sale for f-body's, but only for Non-T-Top's. I don't see how they can work if the window is up
mine has them!!!! wooo. ive never seen another one. and to answer hockeyman, the vents go out a little, but their glued on to the roof  they were on when i got the car,but they gotta come off when i get my new windsheild. yea i dont think they'd work with t-tops if ya got them.ill try to find a good pic. as my car is wrecked, i dont like takeing pics of it. :(

yep my car may be wrecked but i opened both my doors with the windows up lots of times. i compared mine to my dads ( buick century ) ours go out a little more, not just down. i duno if that made sence. but no you wont have a problem with the windows being up.

F.Y.I. Your local Wal-Mart with a T.L.E. can order them, best price around, I used to work at the counter. The company is called Vent Visor. They have a web site. They only make them for the camaro coupe, non-Ttop. They are taped to the roof just above the window & flare out a bit more instead of down so that the door closes. Perfect for if you smoke in your car in the rain.
