$3000 from iraq.....well spent or not? u vote and tell me

alright alright. i bought the car in february from baghdad on ebay right before i went home for 2 weeks on leave. i paid $5100 for it in near mint with 22000 miles and drove it almost 2000 more in the breif 2 weeks of freedom i had prior to returning to iraq to finish my tour. living on a sergeants pay isnt easy, and modding a car on it is tedious to say the least, but after 5 months of planning, purchasing, and endless phonecalls around the globe, i think except for the paintjob im about done. i spent 3000 on accessories and im sorry i have no interior pix at this time, but ill post em in 6 weeks when im home and i can put em all in. i just want to know if my $ was well spent? i dont know if im happy with how the project and how it turned out, and i need opinions. what should i do next? Yeah, most people here aer going to tell you the headlights are too ricy. I agree , but I can't think of anything that would look better.

I have the same tailights.. cept chrome. Anyway i think some halos would look badass on the car.. Nice ride btw and thanks for serving our country.. good luck gettin home.

well I have to say if it were me I wouldnt change a thing, not to many camaros impress me and I didnt think I would like the hood but your car is beautiful, and on the side it is sad when someone who serves our country has a hard time coming up with money to make his car this nice but we can afford to pay ball payers multi millions something just isnt right

I like it, as a matter of fact, what type of body kit is that. I like the front clip and may be purchasing one in the near future. The only suggestion I have is since the rear clip looks like it is designed for duel exhausts, i bet some duel exasts would look nice [img]smile.gif[/img]

BTW what branch are you in? I spent a few years in the army myself.

the body kit is a xenon, and i do have duals. i bought 2 dtm double barrels for the exhaust and a y pipe and high flow cat. i also have alot of interior mods- brushed aluminum 13 pc dash n door kit, gtech sigital tach, T/A shiftknob, 30th anniversary grey leather buckets with matching door panels, brushed alum. faced panasonic mp3/cd/dvd player, 2400 watt legacy amp, pioneer nickelplated dvc premier 12 in mtx thunderform box.

I REALL APPRECIATE ALL THE OPINIONS- THIS SITE HAS DONE WONDERS FOR ME, I HAVE PLANS OF DOIN A T TOP MOD IN NOVEMBER, BUT AM HAVING TROUBLE FINDING LINKS THAT ARENT DEAD ENDS ONWHERE TO GET THE PARTS. I ALREADY HAVE THE TOPS AND THE HEADLINER, AND DONT WANNA RESORT TO A JUNKYARD.
