i decided to upgrade my headlight bulbs..

well i have a 96 camaro, and they SAY you have to replace the whole lamp.... lol. not my way.


i went to a local car parts store. and bought me some sylvania northstar bulbs. i believe they are the 9006's.

anyways, i took the lamp out.. and i took a flat headed screwdriver and pried out my old light. then i took some high temperature silicon sealent and glued them mofo's into the lamp. waited 6 hours and they hooked right up.

and man are those things bright! i can actually see the road now, and every sign from a mile away is lit up with my car facing them.

they really make the car look cleaner at night.

now i need to do something about my foglights which look yellow.

im thinking maybe cool blues?

make em yellow.....not a piss yellow though...a good bright yellow, im looking for some right now that would fit in the factory mounting location and look factory....just yellow...

since it doesnt have a vac. seal wont it get moisture in the lamp?

I wish I could get a pic up here of my car, I just installed 2 sets of fog lights and then I have Piaa headlamps. 2 lights behind the billet grill, and two in the holes underneath the turn signals. People say I's be lucky a plane doesnt try to land into my windshield, lol. [img]graemlins/thumbsup.gif[/img]

the fog lights have a bit of a yellow tint to them as well as blue its weird but they are bright... it's funny in the afternoon just as everyone is turning on their lights i'm riding along and i decide to turn mine on, well *flick* and they are on and its like BAM the street signs light up with my lights reflection, and there are still cars between me and the signs with their headlights on, was it just the way those signs reflect or mine really that dang bright? plus the bumper peice that is directly infront of the headlights is painted (i had whole car painted black) so its very reflective.

you can see in the second picture it looks like i have two headlights stacked on each other but the bottom is the reflection, so its really like i DO have two of them in a way?
