  • SLP Bowtie Grill

I just recently installed slp's bowtie grill and in the process broke off one of the plastic bolts at the button head before I got it in all the way. My question is does anyone have any suggestions on how I can get the plastic bolt out without causing any/much harm or damage to the grill itself?

Get a small punch or possibly a philips head screw driver and hammer and tap the broken part through the hole. If you want, then reach around and take the broken part out from underneath.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I think I'm going to try to carefully file it down and use some gloss black touchup paint to cover it up. If that doesn't work to my satisfaction then I guess I'll look at possibly drilling it out (carefully).
