I want to paint them, but i am not sure how to take them off. Is it tough?

They are not hard taking them off but unless you are going to change your pads I wouldnt bother. If you just want to paint your calipers take an old t-shirt and cover what part of your rotrs that your caliper is not covering. This is wrong if you want to do a good job. You need to at least unbolt the calipers from their brackets in order to clean them well enough to paint on. Brake cleaner alone will NOT take off everything and you need to go over the metal with acetone to get that last bit of grease off. Painting with the caliper still attached will restrict access to parts of the metal and you will not be able to clean or paint them well. If you're going to take the time to do this, take the time to do it right. And please, don't paint the brake pads, I've seen so many people do that and it looks horrible.

Personally I disagree. I didn't take my calipers off to paint them, and they look just as good as anyone's who took them off. I used some spray degreaser to clean them off, and that alone worked just fine and my paint is still in perfect condition (minus damn brake dust! :mad: ).
