Is there any way to get rid of scratches and chips. If not get rid of maybe just hide them a little better?

Maybe try some Scratch X or the Turtle Wax scratch remover. I don't remember what the Turtle Wax's name is but it's the one with the lipstick looking stuff on the side.

several compaines make kits to fix scratches and nicks, but it takes some practice.

The kit I get is Duplicolor's. It comes with primer/filler, 2000 grit wetsand paper, 2000 fine rubbing compound, and clear/topcoat and a sanding stick that you use to take the paint off down to the metal. I only use this thing on my gfx since they've chipped a bit. I'm not quite good enough to fix it perfectly, but it does a really nice job.

Directions follow: sand off all paint with sanding stick. Then use 2000 grit sandpaper to sand smooth. I dont use the primer on the plastic. I just paint onto it with duplicolor touchup paint (buy seperately). Let that dry for at least a day, then wetsand with 2000 grit paper and polish. Clean and use clear coat over that. Wait another day and 2000 grit that and then polish. This has worked very well for me, but it is also very easy to mess up your finish if you dont know what youre doing.
