ive seen a few people with painted 3800 numbers on the upper intake.
how did you manage to do this without getting paint everywhere?

I took hightemp spraypaint and sprayed it into the cap, got a good amount in there and then took a small paintbrush and painted about 3 coats on... still looks good after 2 years. -
sharpy marker, 1year on, and looks good still, and when it fades another 30seconds worth of work and it's good as new97 polo metallic green v6<br /><a href=\"http://www.cardomain.com/id/tdaddyz\" target=\"_blank\">My Car</a>Comment

I used touch up paint on mine, and I think I was the first one here to do it [img]smile.gif[/img]
Works fine. Use Red.2002 5-spd NBM Camaro

What temp paint did you use? DO you have any problems with it burning off? Im interested in knowing. Can anyone recommend to me a really really good paint I can put on my manifolds. I know it sounds horrible, but I have to sell my car and I want to paint the EGR flange that bolts to the manifold black. I had to use muffler mender around it all to hold it on there so it won't leak. If I sand it a little better and just paint that part black it will clean it up better, but i'm afraid a high temp paint will just burn off (i have trouble keeping 1200degree paint to stay on my muffler)Comment

I did mine back in 2000 on my 2000 Camaro 3.8. I used blue touch up paint and did it really carefully, came out quite nice. Lasted for 1.5 years till I sold the car. One of the nicer, inexpensive appearance mods :D .
