How long did it take you? It takes me 8hrs. to make my baby perfect, but that's all by hand. I need a buffer.

8 hrs, no way, with the wash and wax 2.5-3 hours max.

Yeah. 8 hours is insane. I did my car the other day with Meguiars Gold Class and took me about 3 hours by hand. Meguiars =

Aren't you supposed to wax in a back and forward motion? I thought thats how you scratch cars by going in a circular motion. I must be missing something here.

I only do the 8hr job once a year at the beginning of summer. I use the Mothers California Gold three phase system. Also gotta get that weather stripping and cowl area looking new.

It takes me so long because I'm a bit of a perfectionest when it comes to getting the car ready for summer. I also wash off the residue from each part of the system.

It's worth it! Afterwards I can go cruise and everyone will stop and stair. Then it begins..."Is your car new?"..."No it's 9yrs old." :D
