If theyre gts, sell them and get some AVS ones if you want some darker ones. why do they not fit right? im having trouble picturing that. Is it the velcro? I love blackouts on a black car. nothing looks better. Get some sidemarker blackouts for the front. blackouts make a black car look awesome.

if u want something more permanent, i'd say get some spray tint, that way u can control the darkness of it. If u do that, get some spray on clearcoat and give it a couple of coats, to make it shine. i did my sidemarkers and turn signal lenses that way.

They don't fit right or don't cover the whole light assembly?

If they just don't fit right, I would drill acouple holes and use a couple screws. I did that so mine wouldn't fall off anymore.

Dont' take them off whatever you do on a black car!!! :D

you could always get some altezza rears & clear sides & corners, if you want some contrast :D i'm not crazy about those altezza's though.

i'd stick with the all black motif. i think it'd be VERY hard to spray the taillights EVENLY. i did my rear sides & 3rd brake light no probs tho.

what about just spraying your blackouts with some clearcoat to get them to shine? i dunno if that's doable..just a thought.

ok, i've taken them off (they are aVs one's loochy), and i honestly think it looks a lot better...

the left one fit perfectly, but the right one could never fit at the end perfectly (we're talking a tiny amount, but as i say i'm a perfectionist)... it also sat out a tiny bit (as in you could press on them and they'd move a bit)... this is all very anal stuff, but i think it looks a lot neater now, also i didn't like the fact that the black of the black out weren't as black as my paint or my tint...

i do appreciate the responses, and i think black outs look dope (i had them on my green 95, and they look dope), but i just couldn't live with them on my car.. i dunno why, well i guess i do ^^^

anyway, i may be interested in selling them... i dunno, i have all velcro for them, and the original box... make me an offer, i may or may not sell them, who knows... and they are in perfect condition with the aVs taken off (i dont know why the right one didn't fit perfectly as i wanted it too, also remember i am uber anal...)

here's some advice, leave them off for a month, but dont' sell.

then put them back on... if you dont' like what you see... sell em [img]smile.gif[/img]

I did this with my headlight covers everyonce in awhile and i always was happier with the the change regardless of which way it was :D

i think i may take your advise on that one...

although, i really am liking the look right now, even when i first got them on my black camaro, i was never totally sure i liked them, and now with the tint, and exhaust, and after a much needed clay barring, i know it looks a lot sleeker without them... i dont get it, i looked at loochy's car, and fell in love with how his look, i dunno, maybe its the black thing.. my car is super black... (well, it would be...)

i don't think you can go too wrong, but it's better safe than sorry.

in a month, try it and if you don't like it, then you're obviously sure and wouldn't regret selling them :D

not like you'd get much for them anyways ;)
