How much did you guys that have new paint jobs pay??

I'm looking into getting my red camaro painted something like those new ferarri yellow/orangish cavaliers I always see, i love that color and think my camaro would look so sweet with it. It depends on the prices, i have a guy doing it for me for around $800. It depends where you look though, if you decide to have it stripped then painted your looking at some extra cash to have a more pro job done. But you could just paint over your old paint for probably pretty cheap. I know maaco tries to rape you on the stripping and wet sanding part. I wouldn't waste my time stripping the car either it's a pain in the *** and I stripped the whole front end of my pontiac and it is very time consuming. It is worth some extra money to get it done. Whatever you do make sure you look for a quality paint job. Spend that extra cash man.
