I've been messing around with a battery cover and still have plans for another one that has sides. I just made this one out of plexi and painted it pewter..airbrushed the bird/Formula..outlined in then put a textured edge on. I also made a couple fuse box covers an applied extra decals Brent Franker had made for me when he did the door sills He also made the STB decal for me
I still want to do some other stuff.....like the passenger-side wire relocation but heard its a lot of work
Your car is so freakin' awesome! I love everything about it... But im kinda thinkin' that the strut bar is messin up the flames on those covers.. :( It still looks awesome!
As always looks awesome You need to put flames on your radiator cap though and who scribbled all over the passenger side

That looks awesome! Do the fuse box covers just velcro right on top, or did you make them clip in like factory? I need one of mine replaced, but if I could make it easily (and attempt something artistic, yeah right) that'd probably be cheaper and cooler looking than getting one from the dealer.

They fuse box covers are held on with velcro like the battery cover.
So that's a single piece of plexi for the battery cover?
Do you drive with it on?
I made mine with 2 pieces, bolted together and a picture inbetween. I used clear caulking to seal the pieces together to keep out moisture, but the seal didnt' hold, too hot in there :(
I have to head back to the drawing board...
Looks awesome btw!

looks badass, onlything i'm not a fan of is on the drivers side, one of the decals is turned different than all the others
ravenp....yes that's one piece of plexi. I saw your cover and it was very nice btw. The reason I only need the one piece is because I actually painted the plexi. Yes I drive with it on...its not about to come off and neither did the other one I had on there for almost a year. I dont know of another way that would work for you except maybe you could get the plexi laminated? or use a high temp glue?? Hope it works out for you.
Typically, I don't like flames but you have managed to make it VERY classy I like it a lot. I want to do similar things to my engine bay.
