legal ground effects?

someone told me that ground effects are illeagal because of how low the car will sit. anyone know any truth to this. it was related to headlights having to be a certain level to the ground, but i felt ground effects and lowering the vehicle had NOTHING in common. but what is the truth?

Ground effects arnt illegal.... Why would they put them on stock if they are illegal?

no gfx are illegal. they have nothing to do with lowering the car either. and you could drop our cars to the ground and the headlights would still be high enough.

We have adjustable headlights anyways, you just aim them up some if you lower the car and add ground effects. Also if you're just adding ground effects, that wont be lowering your car any. It'll just add more body to the bottom of it, not change the headlights height from the ground.

sorry fellas, but i more or less used you guys. i knew ground effects were legal, hell, mine are gettin painted as we speak. i just needed to prove a point to a girl that thinks she knew everything. she said "since my dad works in a shop, he knows that ground effects are illegal". i was like [img]graemlins/bs.gif[/img] !!! this coming from the same person who said a dodge avenger would "smoke" me easily ( http://www.camarov6.com/cgi-bin/ulti...c&f=7&t=002000 ). so i just posteed a couple a topics and awaited the obvious responsed, so i could print em out and laugh in her face :D ! ahh, the pleasures of victory. i love creating new ways to showing people up. i felt if i got random opinions and info frome people, shed shut up. ya, ok, maybe our oipinions are a little bias... but atleast were right. so if you ever hear some wierd topic from me again, like "could someone sew me for my exhaust setting off their alarm", then youll know what its for. sorry for any hearts ive broken or trust ive lost :( , but you got to admit, if you know someones wrong, you have to prove em wrong! i do appreciate all the info though, you helped with my little plan and it got even bigger that i thought. hey, all the merrier to shove in her face [img]graemlins/evilgrin.gif[/img] .
