  • Fiberglass & doing it yourself

How hard is it, anyone have any pointers or know where I could go for detailed instructions & tips on doing fiberglass.

What do I want to do? Replace my interior.

Its crazy, yes, I know. Crazy enough that I will need to do it myself if I want to afford it :D

    Any info is greatly appreciated.

It's the exact same thing as doing carbon fiber. And it's supposed to be real easy even though I haven't gotten around to doing it. Go to a book store (I went to Barnes & Noble) and find a book about laying composite materials or something. It'll tell you alot of what you need to know. I still want to try cf but can't afford it right now

Shifty: Did you cover your console in duct tape to make somewhat of a mold? I can't exactly tell from the pics. That sounds like a good idea to redo your interior in fiberglass and paint it. I would just need to be able to replace the stock pieces for when I sell it (not for 4 more years when I can get insured on a T/A or Z-28 :D )
