i have a fiberglass hood and have just the underside painted with a flat coat. should i be worried about the heat "eating" the paint/hood?

is there anything i can do to help?

i think it will be ok. i've had my hood on for about a year and a half and everything is fine w/ mine. the paint underneath the hood still looks great and the heat hasn't affected a thing.

if you're really scared, just buy a hood insulator, it's cheap at about $30.
