when buying an orbital buffer are there any special things to look for? also when using one, does anyone have any special tips? any suggestions would be appreciated.

Make sure you get one that spins :D
I just got a relatively cheap one and it works great. Only tip I have is make sure you keep the cord over your shoulder so it doesn't touch the car. like the slow ones, or the heavy duty 10000 rpm ones? well I got both the heavy duty one is for the boat, I wont let it come near my car (its adjustable RPM down to 2000) still you forget yourself for one second and you just put a nice burn mark in your paint....the slower ones your talkin bout....eh, just dont puch to hard I guess.... :rolleyes: [img]graemlins/burnout.gif[/img] ;)
