ok, i'm installing my new fog lights tomarrow morning. the bracket on the fog lights is a little too big to fasten them to the oval in the back of each nostril. is it same to screw them into the top of the nostril? i'm not going to set off my airbags or anything am i?

Without reinforcing the fiberglass, your lights will vibrate. I installed a set of Blazer Hot Lites on my 96 Firebird (back in the day) and I custom made metal nostrils to mount the brackets to. No vibrations at all.
